Title-holder Ratchanok Intanon will take on reigning Olympic champion Carolina Marin of Spain in the women's singles quarter-finals of the US$600,000 Malaysia Open today. The 22-year-old Ratchanok pulled off a stunning comeback in the quarter-finals of the All England Open last month to defeat Marin. Marin was leading 18-11 in the final game in Birmingham before Ratchanok won 10 straight points to seal a 22-20, 13-21, 21-18 victory over the Spaniard. Top seed and world No.1 Tai Tzu-ying of Taiwan swept aside compatriot Pai Yu-po 21-6, 21-8 in just 18 minutes. Lin will face Jonatan Christie in the last eight after the Indonesian rallied to beat Chou Tien Chen of Taiwan 21-23, 21-17, 21-19.
